The WebProxyTool app offers a comprehensive solution for capturing and displaying network data transmitted and received by your device and installed apps.

How It Works:

This app operates by creating a local on-device server, diverting all outgoing HTTPS traffic through it. To ensure secure decryption of HTTPS traffic, the app generates a trust certificate that must be installed and trusted. Once this process is complete, WebProxyTool captures HTTPS requests and creates dummy leaf certificates for requested domains. By functioning as a man-in-the-middle proxy, it effectively reads network data. Importantly, all data is stored solely in a local device database, ensuring user privacy. The developers of WebProxyTool have no access to this data. Moreover, the app functions independently without any reliance on remote servers.

Privacy Statement:

1. The configuration profile and trust certificate are exclusively generated and utilized locally on your device.
2. The app does not collect any user data, device information, or information regarding other apps on the device. Consequently, no data is sold, used, or disclosed to third parties for any purpose.
3. All captured HTTPS traffic remains confined within your device.
